Yog grew up in Africa, where the Safari rally is a huge event, this shaped his motorsport addiction. Yogi came to Canada in 1972 and found the Saskatoon Sports Car Club through Cargosy, their newsletter. He have been a member ever since, competing in rally, autoslalom, rallycross, and now road racing

Yogi is an enthusiast who's raced numerous cars in all sorts of competitions. He recalls a few such as a VW bug, Honda Civic, VW golf in rally, autoslalom, rallycross, and road racing.

Yogi puts his many regiona and club wins high on his list of personal motorsport accomplishments. He was also a double Champion of Sports Car Olympics.

Yogi attended the 2007 Winnipeg sports car club High Performance Driving Experience to gain his race license.

Yogi made it to two race events this year, he competed in the large IT2 field.
Race City Race #2 – VW Golf – WCMA IT2 – 3 6th, 2 2nd, and 1 5th
Gimli Race #3 – VW Golf – WCMA IT2 – 3 3rd, 1 4th, and 2 5th

Yogi was a part of the 2007 SADA (Saskatchewan Association of Automobile Dealers) Autoshow – A charity autocross raised $1200 for Camp Easter Seals, gave ‘ride-alongs’ for $3 donation, every person attending the show(30,000+) spectated at the event.
