Steve has followed racing for a number of years but always thought that it was beyond his means, he did attend a few solo2 events about 8 years ago in a Triumph TR7, but things didn’t really take off until he got involved in ice racing 6 years ago, Steve took a ride on ice in a fellow competitors turbo crx, at night, on Pike Lake, what a rush!!! From then on he was hooked on motorsports.

Steve has been involved in alot of series in Saskatoon. He started as Driver/owner of a VW Jetta, competeting in the Saskatoon Sports Car club ice race series and the WCMA autoslalom series.
He currently runs an Acura Integra prepared to the WCMA IT2 road race specifications.

Steve's accomplishments in motorsport speak for themselves:
2005:
1st place WCMA autoslalom FSP
2nd place WCMA IT3

2006:
2nd place SSCC autoslalom C-Modified
1st place 2006/2007 SSCC ice race series

2007:
6th place in WCMA IT2

Steve has attended a number of regional school events, in 2003, the Alberta Autoslalom school, in 2005, the Saskatoon Sports Car club Ice Race school, and 2006, the Winnipeg sports car club High Performance Driving Experience.

This past year, Steve competed in a number of races/series.
Saskatoon Sports Car Club 2006/2007 ice race season – 1st place overall
Lac la Biche Western Canadian Ice Race Championship – 5th place
Gimli Race #1 – Acura Integra – WCMA IT2 – 2 3rd, 1 4th, and 1 6th
Gimli Race #3 – Acura Integra – WCMA IT2 & ITGT – 3 1st, 2 2nd, and 1 3rd
Race City Race #2 – Acura Integra – WCMA IT2 – 1 1st, 5 4th

Steve was a part of the SADA (Saskatchewan Association of Automobile Dealers) Autoshow – A charity autocross raised $1200 for Camp Easter Seals, gave ‘ride-alongs’ for $3 donation, every person attending the show(30,000+) spectated at the event.
